I’m Canadian, I liked this, it’s funny and quite true.

except for a couple things…

1. turn right on a red in every province except Quebec
2. honour and labour do have “u” in them… please do not confuse us with Americans, we are NOT the same

Dear Vanessa,

I used to read your blogs right when you started blogging (I had just started blogging myself) and I enjoyed them precisely because each one was beautifully crafted. A lot of bloggers who post often seem to think that quantity is more important than quality, but I disagree.
I also had moments when I wanted to quit blogging as I just couldn’t see the results, but I had read about many many bloggers who had said that the secret behind a successful blog was consistency, quality and perseverance. I pushed on, and did my best to find ways to engage with fellow travel bloggers (by actually commenting on blogs, not through twitter and stuff, which is really only selfish self-promotion), and now finally, my blog has a good following, and I’m getting some lovely things from it (Vienna tourism has agreed to sponsor my trip there by providing me with a press ID for free museum entries). And in the end, yes, I blog because I love to write and take beautiful photos!

It’s great to see that you’re blogging again. How I have missed your personal musings! I have considered blogging, but the big question for me is, what will my blog be about? I would like to consider something unique just to be different from the MANY other blogs out there. So, until I figure out the “what” as it were, I look forward to your postings.
